It all started with this Argus Autronic 35 camera. I’d sneak frames and then try to get Mom or Dad to remember when they’d taken the photos that surprised them when film was developed. That led to a long career as a photojournalist and photo editor. My photos have been seen throughout the world, though most had a local audience. Now retired from newspapering, I call the shots.
II was nicknamed ”Cyanpixel” while a staff member of the National Press Photographers Association’s Electronic Photojournalism workshop, which helped news photographers, editors and archivists make the transition from analog to digital technology. Many become newsroom leaders. It attracted participants internationally. The workshops have ended, but my moniker remains.
